Data
Your home's record stays yours.
It is a record you keep, not a feed we run.
Yours
It is your record.
- Not a public feed.
- Nothing about your home is listed, ranked, or shown to anyone you did not let in.
- You can take it with you.
- The record downloads as one file you can read without us.
- Nothing is invented to fill a gap.
- When the record does not know, it says so. A blank is a blank, not a guess.
- You decide who is in.
- Household, neighbor, friend, landlord. Read by default. You grant more, or take it back.
How it gets in
Walk it. Snap it. File it.
- 1 · The public pullYour address starts it. We read the public record: the county's facts, the flood map, the soil, the weather.
An example public pull · a made-up house
212 Harrow Lane · Maplewood, IL 60000
built 1924 ·3,860 sq ft ·what a county record holds
water heater · furnace · sump: not on the public record
- 2 · AddWalk the house with your phone. Snap the nameplate, the panel, the receipt.
What it takes
photos ·documents ·facts ·links ·systems ·products ·people ·spreadsheets
- 3 · Send it inForward the invoice or the warranty email to your home's own address. It lands in Just arrived, and you file it.
Where it goes
your home's own address
Who sees it
You, then people you let in.
- You
- Everything. The record, the money, the documents, the people.
- owner
- Household
- Sees the home. With your yes, adds and edits things, logs the upkeep, and drops in documents for you to file.
- read · write on grant
- Friend
- Sees the home, the money included.
- read
- Neighbor or landlord
- Sees the home you pick and the pros who work on it. Never the money, never your friends' numbers.
- read
- A contractor, by a link you send
- One job, only what you pick, no login. They can send documents back. It ends on its date, or the moment you stop it.
- link
Security
Plain, and checkable.
- No password to lose.
- Sign in with a code we email you, or with Google.
- The fence is in the database.
- What a person you let in can read is decided by the database on every request, not by what the screen hides.
- Documents keep the original.
- What you file is kept byte for byte. We never recompress the PDF you may need in a claim.
- Nothing is sold.
- Your record is not an audience. There are no ads and no data sales.
- AI on your terms.
- Anthropic reads what you ask and the documents you add. OpenAI makes it searchable. Neither trains on it. It turns off in Settings.
- Locked where it is kept.
- Encrypted when it's stored and when it's sent, on servers in the United States.
When you leave
Take it with you.
- Export
- The whole record as one .zip that opens without us, up to 3.5 GB, every photo and document byte for byte, and a list of any it could not read. Bring your things back in from it any time. Every month a copy of the record, documents listed by name, lands in your Documents. Condition notes go in when you include them.
- Delete
- The moment you ask to delete your account, every share link you made stops working. Change your mind within 30 days and they work again. After that, the record and its files are deleted, and backups age out within 90 days.
Reach
Other tools, only if you connect them.
Connect your own AI agent and it can read your record and add to it. It cannot change or delete anything. Nothing outside reaches your record unless you connect it, and you can disconnect any tool in Settings.
FAQ
Straight answers.
- Is this launched?
- Not to everyone yet. It’s an invite-only beta.
- What do you do with my address?
- It opens your home’s public record in Homaic. No account needed to look. Keeping it takes an invitation during the beta. Nothing about your home is pulled onto this site.
- Who can see my home’s record?
- You, then people you let in. Not a public feed. It stays yours.
- What can I actually do in beta?
- Start from your address. Add a thing with a photo, a forwarded email or a spreadsheet. Ask about anything in the record. Compare quotes and decide. Invite your household. Take all of it out whenever you like.
- Can I just ask?
- Yes. Plain language about this home; answers point back at the record.
- What makes Homaic unique?
- Most tools give you another place to file things, or a feed of tips that aren’t about your home. Homaic is the record of your home: what you have, what’s due, what’s been decided. So when something happens, you know what to do. You walk it in, snap it, file it. You ask. You decide with facts, not a pile. It’s built for people who actually want to know their home, not another app to ignore.
Start with your address.
We start from what is already public about your home. You add the rest, one snap at a time.
